This month has been a washout! Work on the boiler room has ground mostly to a halt, though Adam and Khalil have been taking advantage of the occasional dry spells to heave mud about. Happily though, the windows have been fitted on the Cob House (check out the pics below).
Unfortunately the inside sills have gone missing somewhere in Europe. We've hired Sherlock Holmes to find them for us. It may take a while, since he's technically dead.
Our geese have been enjoying the weather, they're splashing about in the pond now that they've lost their fluff and grown adult feathers. We've also got turkey chicks in, who are doing well, (though they like the rain a great deal less.) Make sure to put your orders in for Christmas Turkeys! The geese are for eggs, so be sure to come by the farm shop and pick up a dozen.
Don't forget we have open days the last Saturday of this month, July and August.
Hope to see you soon!
