Honey

At Willowbrook Farm we have introduced our own bees and undergone all the trials and tribulations of managing a new colony. Ruby had trained under a local expert bee keeper, Terry Thomas. A harsh winter, a mystery illness and a a few mishaps later our colony is surviving but we haven't had the heart to remove more than a small amount of the honey they are producing. Hopefully next year! In the meantime we have Fosse Way, local Oxfordshire, raw honey available. Their honey with apricot adds a fruity note and is great on toast. The ginger is warming and ideal in the winter. The honey and lavender adds that extra floral scent.
